I am a specialist paediatrician in neurodevelopmental disorders, such as developmental delay, autistic spectrum disorders etc. I have extensive and broad experience in my field, having spent over 10 years in neurodevelopmental paediatrics/community child health in large London teaching hospitals. I have been working in the NHS for nearly 20 years. I seek to offer a clear steer for families whose children have complex neurodevelopmental profiles of strengths and needs.
I graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine and undertook postgraduate training in London and Cambridge. My specialist higher training in Community Child Health was undertaken at St Thomas’s Hospital, London. I hold an MSc in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from the University College London. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a member of the British Association of Community Child Health (BACCH).
Since 2015 I have been a Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician and I work in the NHS for St George’s Foundation NHS Trust, London. I am the Clinical Lead for Autistic Spectrum Disorders in the Borough of Wandsworth, leading a busy clinical service in a large borough. Until 2020 I was the Designated Medical Officer for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Wandsworth.
I continue to improve and expand my experience through reflective and evidence-based practice to improve clinical care. I am frequently involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education through the St George’s Medical School and the London Deanery. I am regularly involved in projects that improve the quality of our clinical care.
I speak English and Greek.
